Backwaters, hill stations or beaches — the best time to visit Kerala depends on what you are after.
Kerala is a year-round destination, but the experience changes with the seasons. October to March brings cool, dry weather that is ideal for backwater cruises and hill-station stays in Munnar and Thekkady.
The monsoon months (June to September) are lush and green, and a favourite for Ayurveda retreats. Shoulder months offer good value and fewer crowds.
